Former Georgia Secretary of State and current US Senate Candidate Karen Handel stumped parts of Middle Georgia Thursday.

We caught up with Handel as she visited Riverside Ford. She later was spotted at the Macon Beer Company as part of her jobs tour around the state.

Handel says she wants to talk to business owners about the obstacles and uncertanties of doing business in the current economy.

She says her campaign is doing great with a strong support network around the state.

"Results matter, and by any matter we are getting abysmal results, it's time for new leaders, individuals like myself who want to go to washington and solve problems, and not just kick the can down the road and try to get re-elected." -- Karen Handel, US Senate Candidate (R)

Handel says she has raised around 500 thousand dollars in campaign funds so far.

But she's not worried about outraising her opponents, just bringing new blood to Washington.
