The line of thunderstorms that passed through middle Georgia Tuesday morning caused some trees to fall, creating scattered power outages.

Georgia Power said 1,900 customers were without power my mid-morning. Crews were busy with an arcing power line down on Broadway in Macon. Other outages were scattered with crews working to restore power.

One tree fell across Ingleside Avenue near Vista Circle around 9 a.m., blocking the roadway. City crews were working to remove the tree and reopen the roadway.

A large tree limb fell across a parked truck on Hemlock Avenue near New Street, across from the Medical Center of Central Georgia. The car appeared unoccupied. The limb blocked Hemlock.
