ATLANTA (AP) — Forecasters are warning of a severe weather system that could cause strong thunderstorms in parts of north and central Georgia.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City is warning that an approaching cold front from the northwest could produce storms Thursday evening with winds of up to 80 mph. Forecasters say the storms could also produce hail and frequent lightning.
A severe thunderstorm watch is expected to expire at 10 p.m.
