Suspect on the Run after South Houston Co. Shooting

A Tuesday night shooting in south Houston County remains under investigation while the suspect is on the run.

Witnesses on the scene say 22-year-old Desmond Demund Ross shot 26-year-old Crystal Samantha Grier in the front yard of a Highway 41 South home in Elko after they go into an argument around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Ross drove away from the scene in a 1994 Green Toyota Camry with Plate Number PRA-2688. Warrants have been issued for Ross' arrest.
