Three North Macon teenagers were arrested Sunday night and charged with breaking into cars in the Lake Tobesofkee area.

Andrew Garnet Ellard, 18, 205 Baylor Court; Aaron Michael Jones Masey, 18, 1244 Timberland Drive; and Wendall Craig Strickland, 18, 4901 Oxford Road, told Bibb County Sheriff's deputies they had been playing "ding dong ditch" and stole items from cars throughout the night.

The stolen items included a hunting bow and arrows, GPS equipment, cameras, video cameras, range finders and sunglasses.

Deputies said a victim from Waterford Place called the Sheriff’s Office after finding items missing from his car. While deputies were on that scene, another deputy found a suspect vehicle that contained one of the teen's ID card with a nearby address. At that address, deputies found the three.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office also reminds people to remove valuable items from their vehicles and lock the vehicles.
