A Twiggs County prisoner is on the run after escaping from the Twiggs County Law Enforcement Center. Sheriff Darren Mitchum prisoner, Troy Havis Criswell, 45, escaped early Sunday morning. In a news release to WGXA, Sheriff Mitchum says Criswell apparently pulled the shower head from the wall and made a hole large enough for him to get through, then scaled the fence and escaped. He was last seen at a block count at 11 p.m. Saturday night. Criswell is described as a white male standing at 5'11" tall and weighing 190 pounds. His last known address is 1134 Columbus Street in Macon, GA. Criswell was awaiting trial for Possesion of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Stalking, Terroristic Threats, Criminal Trespass, and Loitering. It is unknown if he is armed at this time, but he should be considered dangerous. If anyone has any information regarding Criswell please notify the Twiggs County Sheriff's Office at 478-945-3357.
