UNDATED (AP) — U.S. military officials say two more airstrikes have been carried out against Islamic State militants in northern Iraq. The officials say one air attack near Mosul Dam on Sunday destroyed an armed vehicle, and a strike near the Shiite-Turkmen town of Amirli (A'-mur-lee) damaged a militant tank. There have been 120 U.S.-led airstrikes across Iraq since Aug. 8.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Most House members agree that decisive action must be taken against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria. The top Democrat on the Intelligence Committee, Dutch Ruppersberger, calls the matter "extremely urgent" but tells CNN "you don't just rush in." Republican Peter King, of the Homeland Security Committee, tells CBS "The longer we wait, the more dangerous" the group becomes.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A federal judge is temporarily diving enforcement of Louisiana's restrictive new abortion law. But lawyers disagree about whether his order covers doctors at all five of the state's clinics or only two doctors and three clinics. The judge says the law can still take effect Monday but officials cannot penalize the doctors and clinics that sued for breaking it until after a hearing on a broader pretrial order.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A son of rancher Cliven Bundy has withdrawn his children from the Clark County, Nevada, schools after his daughter was barred from carrying a pocket knife on school grounds. Ryan Bundy tells the Las Vegas Sun that's a violation of his children's rights. Cliven Bundy and his armed states' rights supporters thwarted a federal roundup of his cattle in southern Nevada in April.

NEW YORK (AP) — Donnie Wahlberg's "Favorite Girl" Jenny McCarthy is now his wife. The couple tied the knot Sunday in a ceremony outside Chicago. It's the second marriage for both of them. Wahlberg still performs with New Kids on the Block and also stars in the CBS police drama "Blue Bloods." McCarthy recently left "The View" and now hosts a radio show on SiriusXM.
