Cole and Clay are brothers. Cole has mixed emotions about seeing his younger brother have a chance to play for the state title.
"Happy and kind of sad," Clay says
Clay had a chance to do the same this season. "Happy because I'm glad for him that he went this far and sad because I never had the chance."
But like any older brother would, he's given him some advice. Like not playing nervous.
In their run to the state semifinal they've dominated, outscoring their opponents 56-19. The team has a shot at history and would be the first team from Macon to win the state title. An accomplishment manager Lee Perkins has helped prepare the young team for.
"We're bringing our best. If you don't win tonight you don't play tomorrow so we're pitching our best tonight and we're bringing every thing we can too. We're not leaving anything on the table," Perkins says.
