The Wings and Wheels car show at the Museum of Aviation is a huge annual event that brings many to the area but the government shutdown will affect this year's event.

The good news is that the show will take place as usual in the Museum's parking lot. The bad news is the buildings at the museum will be locked...restroom facilities will be available and as usual vendors will be on hand, because as they say in hollywood the show must go on.

At the show you'll be able to see a lot of cool cars including the Batmobile and a very special Taxi Cab that belong to a local collector.

"the Taxi is actually the original taxi from Captain America, the first avenger movie it's the only taxi that was left in the US the rest were sold in Europe I got it at an Auction where they auctioned off all the captain america props and vehicles off last year. Well the Batmobile is actually a replica It took me about 6 years to build. It started off as a fiberglass body that I bought out of Atlanta and I added a 1975 Impala Chassis lengthened 20 inches. and a small block chevy engine. Its perfectly street legal I registered it here in Georgia "

And while the Batmobile is street legal, due to its poor visibility you're not nearly as likely to see it on the street, as you are this weekend.,.at the Wings and Wheels Car SHow.
