AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Gary Woodland has shot up the leaderboard in round three at the Masters with a tournament record-tying 6-under 30 on the front nine. Woodland opened his round with a birdie-eagle start and birdied three of the last four holes to make the turn at 3-under.

NEW YORK (AP) — Boston closer Koji Uehara (KOH'-jee yoo-ee-HAR'-uh) is out of today's game against the Yankees because of stiffness in his right shoulder and it's uncertain when he will be able to pitch again. He sat out last night's win over the Yankees after feeling discomfort during warmups.

CINCINNATI (AP) — Reds starter Mat Latos has had an MRI on his sore pitching forearm, leaving him unsure of the next step in his recovery from elbow and knee problems. He had hoped to return to the rotation later this month, but suffered a setback this week when he was scratched from a minor league rehab start because of the sore forearm.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Tampa Bay's Ryan Malone has been charged with DUI and possession of cocaine after a traffic stop early this morning. Police says Malone was pulled over after striking the curb following a left turn from the center lane.

BOSTON (AP) — The NHL leading Bruins can wrap up the league's overall title with a win over Buffalo this afternoon. Boston entered the game with 115 points, three more than the Western Conference leading Anaheim Ducks, who have two more games left.
